ALEX Motorsports Japan offers strut bars to increase the chassis rigidity and to increase suspension stroke by reducing chassis flex. ALEX strut bars are made of powder coated steel brackets and hollow aluminum shaft, the idea is to increase rigidity without adding too much extra weight to the car. Available for EVOIX (CT9A), Impreza WRX STi (GRB), CSX/CIVIC (FG2/FD2), RSX (DC5), FIT (GE8)**Coming soon**, S2000 (AP1/AP2). These models has been test fitted and will work on USDM models. Recently, Honda Japan has released the new Honda CRZ (ZF-1). For those who are not familiar, the Honda CRZ has 1.5L i-VTEC engine with IMA (Hybrid) engine, producing 122hp. With Spoon’s relation with Honda, they always get the first dips. Honda has delivered the new CRZ to Spoon for tuning development. Spoon has a few prototypes made for the CRZ i.e. Full-Spec damper, Spoon Twinblock calipers, Spoon N1 muffler & b-pipe, Sports ECU….etc. However, since the CRZ is not available in North America so difference from JDM and USDM is unknown. We probably will need to see the car and test fit some of the parts before we can confirm if the JDM parts will be compatible.
