Tuned 2010 GTR R35 !

Filed under: AJR News — ajracing @ 6:52 pm

The new GTR R35 has a lot of potential to lead out performance so we started out with the basics i.e. intake system, full exhaust system, ECU reflash and suspension. Free flowing exhaust like the T1R 90RT (Titanium) + Y-pipe & Turbo outlet pipes helps the turbo spools and respond faster. Besides adding performance it also helps the engine temperature lower to relieve engine heat.

Most of the aftermarket intakes didn’t show very good gains for VR38DETT but it doesn’t mean it is not necessary. As for our perspective, breathing is necessary in order to bring out all the juice that the GTR has.

In addition the ECU reflash, adjusted the boost (dial-up), adjusted fuel & ignition map makes the power curve much smoother and powerful. It leads out the maximum performance without upgrading the Turbo and engine internals.

Moreover, upgrading the factory springs to go stiffer will be a wise idea. This will help to reduce the understeer that the GTR is known for and also increase the cornering speed and stability. This will give the driver more confident and feel to make a faster turn. Not all GTR owners are trained or can do the fast lap time like Nissan drivers did at Nurburgring, at least I am not one of them. The T1R S-coil spring kit is the kit we recommended. It comes with stiffer spring rates and you can also corner weight balance the GTR.

To be continued…

D1 Spec Throttle controller !

Filed under: AJR News — ajracing @ 5:31 pm

Most of the late model cars have “Drive-By-Wire” system so the amount of throttle is modulated based on the voltage. With this throttle controller, now you can control the pedal to throttle to improve the throttle response at a ideal position. The D1 Spec throttle controller features 3 modes (12 settings) :

1) Normal (standard behaviour)
2) Sports **7 settings**
3) Eco **5 settings**(Economic Mode)

Here’s the illustration for the effect of having the throttle controller !

Any questions, please contact us via email.
